Welcome to Little Minds Early Learning Centre

At Little Minds Early Learning Centre we have a wonderful family of children, parents, whaanau and teachers. We have two inviting learning environments, our babies to two year old Koru room, and our two to 5 year old Fern room.

Our aim is to offer children and their families a quality education programme firmly embedded within the bicultural and multicultural diversity of Aotearoa.

Fern Room (Aged 2/3 years to school age)

Kia Ora. Welcome to the Fern room. This room is for children aged 2/3 years until they go to school (whether that be at 5 or 6 years of age).

We provide a mixture of free play and structured activities that are both child and teacher initiated, based on the Early Childhood Curriculum Te Whaariki.

Our Philosophy

At Little Minds Early Learning Centre we believe in inspiring little minds to reach their full potential, just as the koru unfurls into a silver fern. Through play-based learning, Teachers will follow the children's interests, as well as growing their minds by introducing new experiences to excite their imagination. We strive to build a respectful community of happy, engaged learners and encourage opportunities to build tuakana teina relationships. When our children leave our centre they will be equipped with all the skills and passion to continue on their lifelong learning journey.
